BUILDING AND DEVELOPING VIETNAM’S SECURITY INDUSTRY IN THE DIGITAL ERA
In recent years, Vietnam’s strategic direction for developing its security industry has become increasingly concrete through a series of important policies and initiatives. Conclusion No. 158-KL/TW, Resolution No. 60/NQ-CP, Resolution No. 320/NQ-CP, and Law No. 119/2025/QH15 have progressively established the strategic direction, mechanisms, and legal framework for building and developing the security industry. These policies emphasize the need to mobilize resources, advance science and technology, develop sectoral planning, and establish a national security industry complex.
This includes the requirement to “establish a national security industry complex,” while also raising the need for specific mechanisms, policies, and financial resources to address bottlenecks in the research, development, and application of security-related scientific and technological products. This also provides an important foundation for strengthening research capabilities, mastering key technologies, and bringing security products and solutions into practical application.
Against this backdrop, VN-SECURITY’ 2026 brings together government agencies, businesses, and domestic and international organizations to showcase new technologies, products, and solutions while creating a platform for connection, knowledge exchange, and cooperation, contributing to innovation and the development of Vietnam’s security industry.
